Does scattered randomness become structure if you only ever let it move to its own average?

Lloyd's algorithm. Points are scattered, their Voronoi regions are approximated by sampling, and each point steps to the centroid of its own region. Repeat.

Scatter a new set of points, step the relaxation one iteration at a time or let it run. Watch the mean displacement per iteration fall.

Reports the mean centroid displacement at the current iteration — the actual convergence of this particular scatter, not a typical curve.
